1. What Modarebek is
Modarebek (مدربك) is a marketplace and software service that connects people who want to train ("trainees") with independent certified personal trainers ("trainers"). Trainers set their own packages and prices and deliver the training. Modarebek provides discovery, booking, payment collection, messaging, program delivery, check-in and progress-tracking tools.
Modarebek is not a gym, a medical provider or the trainer’s employer.
2. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
- Trainees and trainers sign in with their email address and a password, or with Apple or Google in the mobile app. Your account is personal: keep your password secret and your devices secure, and tell us right away about any unauthorised use.
- You choose your role (trainee or trainer) once, when you first set up your account.
- You must give accurate information. Trainers must give truthful certifications, experience and identity details.
3. Trainer verification
Trainers submit their profile and certifications for review. We may approve or reject them, ask for more documents, or suspend a profile. Verification only means that we reviewed the documents provided. It is not a guarantee of a trainer’s quality or of any result.
4. Packages, prices and payment
- Trainers publish packages: remote follow-up subscriptions, in-person or at-home session packs, or hybrid packages. Prices are shown in Saudi riyals and include VAT where applicable.
- Modarebek collects the full price as merchant of record through our payment provider (Moyasar). We never store your card details.
- An order that is not paid within the payment window shown at checkout (currently 30 minutes) expires, and nothing is charged.
- A subscription starts when the payment is confirmed. Renewals are separate purchases that you start yourself. There is no automatic recurring charge.
5. Sessions, cancellation and no-shows
The Refund and Cancellation Policy explains the details. In short, you can cancel or reschedule a session for free up to 12 hours before it starts. A later cancellation, or a no-show (no check-in within 30 minutes of the start time), counts as a used session.
6. Check-in and location
In-person sessions are confirmed when the trainer scans a short-lived QR code shown in the trainee’s app. When you allow it, the location at check-in is recorded so that attendance can be verified. A large distance from the session location is flagged for review and never blocks the check-in.
7. Health
Training carries a risk of injury. Before training, trainees complete a health questionnaire and accept the Health and Safety Acknowledgement. The content and guidance on Modarebek, including nutrition plans and InBody estimates, are not medical advice.
8. Conduct
You must not:
- harass, threaten or discriminate against anyone;
- share content that is unlawful, sexual or violent, or that infringes someone else’s rights;
- take payments for Modarebek bookings outside the platform;
- scrape the service, probe its security or create accounts in bulk.
We may remove content and suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
9. Reviews
Trainees can review a trainer once per subscription, starting 3 days after it begins, and can edit their review for 30 days. Reviews must reflect a genuine experience. Trainers can reply publicly. We may hide reviews that break these terms.
10. Complaints between trainees and trainers
Either party can open a complaint in the app about a session, a subscription or a payment. While a complaint is open, the related trainer earnings stay on hold. Our support team reviews the evidence from both sides and decides on a refund or no refund. That decision is final on the platform, without prejudice to your statutory rights.
11. Intellectual property
Trainers keep ownership of their programs and media and give Modarebek a licence to host them and show them to their clients. Trainees may use programs for their own personal training only.
12. Suspension and closing your account
You can delete your account in Settings. Your data is erased 30 days after the request; signing in again during that period cancels the deletion. We may suspend accounts for breach of these terms, fraud or safety reasons. We keep financial records for as long as the law requires, as described in the Privacy Policy.
13. Liability
Trainers are independent service providers and are responsible for the training they deliver. Modarebek is responsible for operating the platform with reasonable care and skill. To the extent permitted by Saudi law, Modarebek is not liable for how a trainer delivers training beyond its obligations as the platform operator.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will notify you in the app before material changes take effect.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The competent courts of [to be confirmed] have jurisdiction.
